Pulmonary Biobank Consortium is a nonprofit organization whom facilitates the access to lung tissue samples for research.

Launched in 2008 by Spanish Respiratory Research Network (CIBERES), along  2009 started the collection activity in 10 hospitals.

In each hospital a cooperative working group has been created. It coordinates the different departments involved in order to guarantee the collecting activity and the quality of samples and data.
